Student Safe Taxi Scheme
We are trialling a student safe taxi scheme.
1. Feel unsafe and haven’t got cash on you? Just phone City Taxis on 0114 239 3939
2. When the City Taxi arrives, hand over your Student Union card to the taxi driver, and tell them where to take you! City Taxis will then phone Velocity Village security and they will escort you to your apartment. No cash necessary!
3. The next day, come to the Velocity Village lettings lounge and pay the price of your taxi fare, and get your Student Union card back!
